I don’t subscribe to the one size fits all model of massage therapy. Instead, I listen to your concerns and we focus the work on areas that will help to achieve your goals. I incorporate traditional massage and advanced soft tissue therapy techniques to assess and treat a wide range of conditions.
Sports & Remedial Massage is suitable for anyone suffering from muscle pain or tension. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing stress busting massage after a long week at work, need to reduce muscle tension after a race, or need relief from chronic pain, I will work with you to provide an effective massage experience.
I do offer home visits within a reasonable distance of Amersham.
A deep tissue massage designed to relieve tension, increase flexibility and improve muscle tone.
You don't need to be an athlete to benefit from a Sports Massage.
Sports Massage is an effective and proven treatment for addressing muscular imbalance & areas of tightness, helping to restore normal range of movement, for the reduction of pain or for relaxation.
SOFT TISSUE THERAPY
The assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of minor and chronic muscular-skeletal injuries and pain.

STRESS RELIEVING RELAXING MASSAGE
Relax the mind & body
A relaxation massage treatment will usually involve flowing strokes and kneading, performed at your chosen pressure. It's a pain free therapy and an effective way to de-stress and relax the mind and body.
I can also offer a hot stones massage. The warmth and pressure of the stones allows for a deeper massage to relieve any aches and pains that you might have.
Helps reduce pain, provides muscular support & aids postural alignment
A taping system that can provide support to prevent injury or reduce pain, can help activation of weak or injured muscles, can aid stabilisation and also help correct postural imbalance. All without without causing restriction to range of movement.
Tape has an acrylic based adhesive which is applied directly to the skin and is gentler on the skin than conventional athletic tape. Tape dries quickly post showering/swimming and will normally last multiple days.
It is not a stand alone treatment but is combined with physical therapy to help achieve the results.
Treating the person, not just the injury
As a qualified soft tissue therapist (BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy) and member of ISRM (Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage), my goal is to improve the quality of life for my clients. Whether that be making improvements to allow you to better carry out everyday activities or helping sports people through the rigours of regular exercise and competition; together we can work to get you there.
As a keen sportsman and runner, I have always been interested in massage therapy as a treatment option for sports-related issues including injuries, sore muscles, cramps, and loss of flexibility. After having multiple injuries over the years, I can attest to the power of massage therapy for rehabilitation. It has been instrumental in helping me heal and continue running whilst also providing great insight into where regular maintenance needs to be focused in order to help reduce the risk of injury.
If you’re just starting out on a path with the goal to become an elite athlete, are in training for a specific event and would be interested in soft tissue therapy over the longer term, I’d be happy to hear from you. I am open to discussing ongoing work and rates dependent on what your project is.
